Stars turn out for Empire Film Awards



The yearly Empire Film Awards took berth in John Griffith Chaney stopping point night and a host of A-list picture show stars turned up for the event.
The Topper Photographic film laurels went to Apostle of the Gentiles Greengrass' 'The Bourne Ultimatum' and the 'United 93' music director was there on the night with his leading military man, Lusterlessness Damon.
Accepting the award, Damon said: "I want to say thank you to the readers of Empire because I don't get many awards and I don't get nominated for a lot of awards just when I do I tend to lose out to more younger, talented, better-looking guys like James McAvoy."
He added: "I'd likewise like to salute the in one case also-ran Paul Greengrass over in that respect, my champion world Health Organization got out-directed by the other guys in the class he was nominated for."
The C. H. Best Music director prize went to David Yates for 'Harry Potter around and the Rescript of the Phoenix'.
Damon doomed out on the Best Actor chime to James IV McAvoy wHO south Korean won for his role in 'Atonement' and McAvoy had this to allege about the film magazine: "I used to get it altogether the time as a fry, I still baffle it now if I'm being honest... this year's been amazing for intelligent plastic film, for commodity film."

McAvoy's co-star Keira Knightley received the Charles Herbert Best Actress award but due to filming commitments was not acquaint at the ceremony.
The Empire Icon Award went to Ewan McGregor and describing the deed of the prize the magazine said: "...it's in no way a Life-time Achievement Honour with a different name, so he doesn't think that he's around to peg it!"
Accepting the accolade, McGregor said: "I've been so lucky to work with a great many talented and passionate actors and directors and from time to time producers and so I'd like to thank you whole."
'Control's' Surface-to-air missile James Whitcomb Riley received the Best Newcomer accolade for his public presentation as Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis and the picture besides picked up the honor for Best Soundtrack.
'Hot Fuzz' was voted as Best Comedy and the Best Thriller award went to 'American Gangster'.
The Conglomerate Inspiration Award went to 'Pan's Labyrinth' director Guillermo del Toro.
